                 i thought of this thing because old phones have low resale values ,so instead of locking them in cupboards,give them  a new life by turning them into security systems .

step by step guide :

1. download your app of choice from play store or itunes store. with some apps, you need to register with google account. all of them are works on android and ios devices apart  from manything.
2. follow instructions to make sure your app is installed so the phone can film while on standby/have a blank screen.
3. when setting up your security cam,make sure your phone is always charged. old phones have usually reduced battery life and have the cam run constantly will drain your power.
4. find an inappropriate spot in you home ,where you can place your cam and has a good range(like high shelf).
5. using most of these apps,you will be able to access your account from another internet connected device,which means you can check your home from anywhere.
6. placing your phone near a light that glows all day,you can capture during the dark night.

ps: security is essential in any home,but having full security system may cost very expensive ..

even phones that have a damage like broken screen can be used for makind security camera...
